AgriRecover organises the collection of empty packaging and plant protection product residues, fertilisers, biocides, biostimulants and seeds for professional users whose members sell in Belgium. Every year, rinsed and non-rinseable packaging is collected every year at around 150 collection points. Every two years, NUPPP is collected (i.e. non-usable plant protection products) at the same locations. AgriRecover was founded in 1997 by Phytofar (now Belplant), the Belgian Association of the Crop Protection Products Industry. The goal was to meet its statutory requirements regarding packaging waste.

Recycleren bij agrirecover
Zit je met agrochemisch verpakkingsafval? En ben je professioneel gebruiker in de landbouw? AgriRecover organiseert de inzameling van lege verpakkingen en restanten van gewasbeschermingsmiddelen, meststoffen, biociden en zaden. Met verpakkingen die het AgriRecover-logo dragen kan je jaarlijks – van eind september tot eind november – terecht bij meer dan 150 inzamelpunten.
Heb je de verschillende fracties goed gesorteerd, dan is het zelfs helemaal gratis. De gespoelde verpakkingen worden gerecycleerd, onder meer tot plastic hoezen voor elektrische kabels. Zo wordt 90% van de verpakkingen in België verzameld en de kunststof hergebruikt. En draag jij bij aan een meer circulaire economie.

FARMERS
Belgium has more than 35,000 farms. We collaborate with the farmers on sustainable agriculture efficiently collecting agrochemical packaging.
MEMBERS
AgriRecover has more than 60 members. Our goal is the optimal processing of packaging waste jointly with all manufacturers of plant protection products, fertilisers, biocides, biostimulants and seeds.
