Non-rinseable packaging and residues of plant protection products cannot be recycled today. These are combusted to recover energy (valorisation). What exactly are non-rinseable fractions? A good example is containers that cannot be rinsed, such as seed disinfection products. Doing so is prohibited. Other examples include agrochemical product packaging, such as cardboard, metal, paper and aluminium foil, drum seals and boxes for multiple containers contaminated with spilt product.
