RINSED FRACTION

The empty packaging of agrochemical products is sorted into three fractions: rinsed fraction, non-rinseable fraction and caps. When you open a new package, immediately remove the aluminium seal and place it in the non-rinseable fraction bag. A properly rinsed package no longer contains any trace of phyto agents and can no longer leak. A few drops of the product will contaminate a large amount of water. So, make a habit of immediately rinsing the empty packaging thoroughly in the proper manner.

THE RIGHT APPROACH

1

PROPER RINSING

Rinse the packaging as soon as it is empty. You can do this mechanically or manually. How should you rinse manually? Fill the container with water so it is one-third full and shake it forcefully. Repeat this three times.

2

DRY WELL

Allow the rinsed container to dry out in a drip tray. Collect the rinse  water in the spray receptacle. Only place dry containers in the  AgriRecover bag.

3

AVOID COSTS

Containers that are still wet are considered non-rinseable. The associated costs can be charged onto you, e.g. an administration fee and a processing fee.

4

CHECK THE LOGO

Only collect properly rinsed and dry containers with the AgriRecover logo in the AgriRecover bag. Make sure you remove the caps from the containers.

5

RINSE WATER

You may not flush the rinse water into sewers or other inappropriate places. Mix it with the spray solution and spray it appropriately on the plot to be treated.

6

HANDING IN

As a professional user, you must hand in the fraction yourself or delegate this task to a company employee.

7

TRANSPORT

Transporting waste for other parties is prohibited. This means you cannot give your packaging to a colleague.

8

PERSONAL CERTIFICATE

You will receive a personal certificate by e-mail.

9

COLLECTION CAMPAIGN

The collection campaign runs from September to December. Respect the dates and times of the collection points.
